General Information

As most of you know, Chennah grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, smack-dab in the heart of the Mojave Desert. Her love for the great Southwest was shaped by her childhood there and fond memories visiting her family’s ranch in Kingman, Arizona. Those desert landscapes—and notoriously high temperatures!—still set the standard for her everywhere she goes. Zach has since developed his own appreciation for the desert, thanks to Chennah showing him its profound beauty, serenity, and charm.
When it came to choosing the perfect place to get married and celebrate with loved ones, a desert in the great Southwest was always top of the list. While Las Vegas was an obvious contender, the stunning natural beauty of the Sonoran Desert in Arizona just felt unmatched. We decided this would be the right place to share this unique corner of the U.S. with friends and family, especially those from other parts of the country and internationally who might not otherwise travel here.
We are sooo excited to share this special place in our hearts with you! 🥰

We’re still finalizing the details of our wedding day schedule, but we're planning for a pre-sunset ceremony.
Please keep an eye on the Schedule page for the latest updates!
Guests arriving a day early are warmly invited to a Welcome Party hosted by Zach's parents, Celeste and John, on Friday night before the wedding. We’d love for you to join us in the heart of Phoenix at Ocotillo for this casual meet-and-greet!
-
Welcome Party: Casual attire or Western wear (for you fun cowboys & cowgirls)
Wedding Ceremony & Reception: Black tie optional, with pops of COLOR encouraged 🎨 — see examples
Ladies, stilettos are not recommended here, as the ground at the venue may be unsteady with small rocks and sand.
Do keep in mind that the desert in early March can get cool in the evenings, so consider bringing a light coat or shawl.
-
Weather permitting (knock on wood!), the ceremony will be outdoors, so please plan accordingly. We’ll have plenty of cool drinks but shade will be limited, so don’t be shy with sun protection!
In the event of rain, the ceremony will move to a covered pavilion at the same location as the reception.
-
We love your little ones, but we’re keeping the guest list limited to children from Zach and Chennah’s family.
We appreciate your understanding!
-
We’ll be following the latest health guidelines. Check back closer to the date for any updates or requirements.

Phoenix and Scottsdale are very car-friendly, with several transportation options:
Rideshare: Uber and Lyft are widely available and convenient for short trips or if you prefer not to drive. For a unique experience, you can also try Waymo’s driverless cars, though we recommend using them primarily in low-traffic areas or for short distances.
Car Rental: If you’re planning to explore beyond Scottsdale or take day trips, renting a car is your best bet. Major rental companies can be found at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (PHX) and throughout the city.
Public Transportation: The Valley Metro light rail and bus systems are available, but public transit is limited in some areas and may not be the most convenient option for getting around Scottsdale.
Biking: Scottsdale has a robust system of bike paths and rentals, making it a great option for short trips if you're looking to explore the city at a slower pace.
We recommend using rideshare or renting a car for the easiest and most flexible way to enjoy your time here!

La Puesta Del Sol has approximately 40 parking spaces onsite.
We will also arrange shuttle transportation to pick up and drop off guests in front of the We-Ko-Pa Resort. If you plan on drinking alcohol or do not feel confident driving in the dark on partially unpaved desert roads, we highly recommend using our shuttles.

We’re crossing our fingers for sunshine, but in the unlikely event of rain, we have a covered backup location ready to go. 😉

We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras away during the ceremony so our talented photo- and videographers can capture the moment. Feel free to snap away at the reception!

Your presence is already a huge gift! 🥹
If you wish to give even more, feel free to explore our Registry to see what we’d love to fill our new home with.
We kindly ask that only cash gifts be given in person during the wedding weekend, as Arizona is a destination for us too, and we’ll have limited space for travel. Please send any non-cash gifts directly to our home.
